A Walk in the Park

On my journey in this thing we call life, Ive come to the realization that the more open you are to whatever the universe has in store for you, the more you are reminded that its the simple things you should appreciate the most. Nestled somewhere in the northern most part of South Carolina is a small town called Cheraw.

On my journey here I saw just how amazing our planet really is. Far from the hustle and bustle of  concrete jungle of Los Angeles, a city I have decided to call home. Far from the reach of good cellar service ( its actually quite peaceful not looking at your phone for a few hours who knew?).  I was inspired by; the beautiful winter waterfalls, Lake, empty picnic tables and gorgeous evergreen trees that surround it to embrace the calm.

Call me spoiled if you want but I am definitely accustomed to big city life, and to step away and shoot Quana reminded me that there is a whole other world out there left to explore. She, an aspiring model with dreams of the city life. Plans to  escape the peace and quite of her small town. The irony is the older I get the more I appreciate the simple things somethings. Simple things like knowing everyone in town by name, building a special bond with a place you know every inch of, never in a rush to do anything or, privacy lol. while I’m sure she hates it knowing nothing else I envy her. I moved around so much as a child I never had the chance to grow up in an environment so closely connect to it that I know it like the back of my hand.

Where ever life takes us, from this day forward I made a promise to myself to take time unplugged from the matrix. Unplugged from so much that I can’t appreciate the simple things, like a Walk in the Park.
